Write One For The Wolf (WOFTW) is the PTO’s primary tax-deductible fundraiser for the school year. Your donations bridge the gap between the limited state funds our school receives and the incredible programs Sweet Apple is able to provide, such as Science Lab, Cultural Arts Assemblies, Fall Family Festival, WOW Day, Reel Readers, Interact Club, and so much more!

STEP UP FOR SCIENCE!
Our Science Lab is not funded by the county or state; it is covered entirely by your fundraising dollars. This year, we are DOUBLING the number of Science Lab opportunities for our students, and we need your help to fund an additional teacher! Both teachers have more than a decade of experience and hold degrees and certifications in education, curriculum development and instruction, early childhood instruction, and science/math curriculum. Science Lab will now be part of our students’ Specials rotations, PLUS an extra STEM experience each month.
STEP UP FOR TEACHERS!
Your donations fund much-needed and appreciated support for our teachers! Each year, we hold teacher and bus driver appreciation events, provide gift cards to start the school year, and support specialized needs via our Teacher Grant process. Last year, through these grants, we funded phonics-based materials for our literacy coach, a new PBIS rewards store for the whole school, and an ice machine for the nurse. If your children have ever been to the clinic, they have surely used that ice machine!
STEP UP FOR STUDENTS!
We don’t ask your child to sell wrapping paper or discount cards. We want them to focus on learning and having fun. WOFTW donations fund all the educational and social programs mentioned and more. Last year we were also able to purchase a shade structure for both playgrounds to make recess safer and more comfortable. Directly or indirectly, every dollar we raise supports our students!
To meet our fundraising goals, we ask that each family donates $300 - the equivalent of just one week of preschool tuition per child, which will cover a full year of enrichment programs at Sweet Apple. We understand that not everyone can contribute at this level and some can contribute more.
All families who donate at any amount $25+ by October 15, 2023 will be entered into a drawing to potentially win higher-tier incentives.
Donating at high levels guarantees the incentives at that level and helps support all the students in the school.
All donations received on or before October 15, 2023 will be eligible to enter into the drawings for incentives. The drawing will take place on October 15, 2023 and all winners will be announced shortly thereafter. Musical seat assignments will be based on the level of giving and then the date received. Priority is given to Diamond Level Donors.
MANY COMPANIES WILL MATCH YOUR DONATION, so please check with your HR department to see if your company has a matching gift program! Corporate match doubles your contribution for incentives if received from your corporation by 10/15/23.
* All programs that require face to face student and/or parent attendance are contingent upon Sweet Apple Elementary being able to offer these programs pursuant to State and local guidelines and regulations and pursuant to Fulton County School Board approval.
